Subicular hyphae: hyaline, with clamps, thin-walled, not incrusted, 2.5-4 µm wide
Subhymenial hyphae: hyaline, with clamps, thin-walled, not incrusted,
2.5-5 µm wide
Cystidia: hyaline, capitate, apically incrusted, up to 90 µm long and up
to 9 µm wide at the apex, partially somewhat incrusted
Basidia: hyaline, with basal clamp
Spores: brownish, frontally triangular and often lobed, laterally
irregularly rounded to elliptical, 6-8.5 µm
Distribution: Occurs worldwide in temperate to subtropical regions, considered a
sparsely occurring species in Germany
Note: Easily identifiable by the capitate cystidia, the greenish
hymenophore, and the thin fruit bodies.
